A Gentle Morning Immunity Tea Ritual ..

Some mornings ask us to move slowly.

The kind of morning where your body feels a little tired, the air feels cooler, and the day ahead seems to whisper, take it gently.

On mornings like these, I like to start the day with something simple — a warm cup of homemade immunity tea.

It’s nothing complicated. Just a few ingredients from the kitchen, a quiet moment while the kettle boils, and the comfort of something warm in your hands.

For me, it has become a small ritual. A soft way to begin the day.

My Simple Morning Immunity Tea

You’ll need:

• 1 cup hot water
• 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
• Juice of half a lemon
• 1 teaspoon honey
• A pinch of cinnamon (optional)

How to Make It

  1. Boil your kettle and pour hot water into your favourite mug.

  2. Add the grated ginger and let it steep for a few minutes.

  3. Stir in the fresh lemon juice.

  4. Add honey to taste.

  5. Sprinkle a little cinnamon if you enjoy a warm, comforting flavour.

Give it a gentle stir and take a moment before your first sip.

A Small Morning Pause

It’s a tiny pause before the day truly begins.

These moments may seem small, but they hold a quiet kind of nourishment — not just for the body, but for the spirit too.

Sometimes wellness doesn’t begin with a big routine or a long list of habits.

Sometimes it begins with a warm mug, a deep breath, and the permission to start the day slowly.

A Little Question for You

Do you have a favourite morning drink or ritual that helps you start the day gently?

I’d love to know what small morning moments bring you comfort.

With warmth,
Claire 🤍
